Through the grand entrance on Hötorget square, you are welcomed into a lovely environment characterized by the optimism and elegance of the 1920s. Here in the historic PUB building, where Greta Garbo worked in the early last century, the original details of the building have been carefully restored or reinterpreted for our time. We are now looking for a Receptionist at Haymarket by Scandic.

What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the hub of the network, ensuring the guest is always in focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details. You ensure the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your lips and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most things and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, for that is where you meet the most guests. The area of responsibility also includes administrative work, security work, and sales work.

Work at the reception involves checking hotel guests in and out, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working in shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Who are you?

To fit the role, we believe you have a well-developed social skill and are capable of handling that many different things happen simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.

You also have experience and knowledge in working with a computer as a work tool.

Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. Speaking an additional language is an advantage.

Most important of all, however, are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit the role, you need to be an attentive and non-hierarchical team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
