Västerviks Bostads AB is a municipal-owned limited company that owns and manages approximately 3,449 apartments and over 316 commercial premises, as well as managing the municipality's operational facilities such as schools, nursing homes, and sports venues. We work with operations, maintenance, construction, finance, and marketing. Our business idea is that Västerviks Bostads AB should, on commercial grounds, offer secure, accessible, and attractive housing, premises, and services of high quality, as well as provide construction and property services within the municipal group. Your main responsibilities

As a project manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and executing construction, renovation, and ROT (Repair, Optimization, Transformation) projects within our property portfolio. You are the Housing Company's representative throughout the entire project process and are responsible for ensuring that projects are carried out according to set goals regarding quality, economy, time, and sustainability.

You work closely with colleagues in the Technical Department and other parts of the business, and coordinate external designers, consultants, and contractors.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Lead construction, renovation, ROT, and maintenance projects from idea to completed facility.
• Be responsible for the project's budget, schedule, and quality.
• Plan, coordinate, and follow up on projects together with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in procurement and follow-up of contracts.
• Ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with current legislation, authority requirements, and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Contribute to the development of sustainable, energy-efficient, and long-term property solutions.

Your background

We are looking for you who have education in construction, technology, or urban planning, at the upper secondary or post-secondary level.

You have a few years of experience from the construction or property industry, for example as a project manager, foreman, site manager, project engineer, or technical consultant.

We would like you to have:

• Good knowledge of house construction.
• Knowledge of building legislation and contract law.
• Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft 365, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Category B driver's license (required).

It is meritorious if you have:

• A university degree in construction or equivalent post-secondary education.
• Experience with Autodesk programs.
• Certification as a control responsible person according to the Planning and Building Act (PBL).
• BAS-P/BAS-U training.
• Experience with sustainability and energy efficiency projects.
