Radiology in Falun is a 24/7 operation where we perform both emergency and scheduled examinations within ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), conventional X-ray, interventional radiology, MRI, and nuclear medicine. Over 100 employees with various professions work here, giving you a team of cheerful, competent, and engaged colleagues. Our operations are characterized by high-quality care, teamwork, and a strong drive to improve care for our patients. We have recently moved the MRI section to new premises with expanded operations, creating even better conditions for future imaging diagnostics.

As a radiology assistant (undersköterska), you are the radiographer's extended arm in the work process. You work closely together in a team to provide the patient with the best possible care and results. Your role is to be close to the patient, provide information, and create a sense of security before and during the examination, while the radiographer is responsible for the medical technical equipment and the execution of the examination. You are attentive to the patient's needs and ensure that both the patient and the examination room are well prepared for upcoming procedures. You will work in a department with constant technical development, meaning the work is stimulating, varied, and developmental. We offer a secure and individually adapted introduction together with experienced colleagues so that you feel confident in your role. The department operates 24/7, which means working hours can be scheduled at any time of the day, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Requirements:

• Training as a healthcare assistant (undersköterska) from the Care and Nursing Programme, or the vocational package Care and Nursing at adult education.
