We need to increase our staff to improve and secure the working environment and reduce the workload at the Emergency Department at Mora Hospital! We are therefore looking for registered nurses who are prepared for varied tasks and continuous changes in pace. Our goal is for the patient to feel safe, receive the right care and treatment, and feel helped after their visit with us. Mora Hospital is an emergency hospital with approximately 1,000 employees. The largest departments at the hospital, besides the emergency department, are the Medical Clinic, Surgery/Anesthesia/ICU, Surgery, and Orthopedics. There are about 60 staff members at the Emergency Department in Mora, including nurses and nursing assistants. The emergency department is also staffed by doctors from the Medical Clinic, Orthopedics, and Surgery departments.

We offer orientation and continuous training so that you feel secure and develop in your role. As a nurse at our workplace, you will have the opportunity to gain broad competence in the emergency care of all different patient categories. This provides varied work as a nurse with us.

We apply flexible schedules based on individual needs. For example, longer working shifts with more days off.

Within Region Dalarna, you have the opportunity to further educate yourself as a specialist nurse or midwife while maintaining your salary. At Mora Hospital, there is a staff gym as well as a training facility offering group exercise. The region also offers a wellness allowance of up to 2,000 SEK/year.

The work includes, among other things, assessment of acutely ill patients, medication management, documentation, and nursing care. At our emergency department, patients are prioritized/sorted using Triage according to RETTS, a quality-assured tool used in almost all emergency departments in Sweden. With the patient's perspective in focus, you as a nurse hold nursing responsibility for the patient. Our goal is for the patient to feel safe, receive the right care and treatment, and feel helped after their visit with us.

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and we would appreciate if you have previous care experience and feel confident in your professional role. It is meritorious if you have previously worked in emergency care and/or have further education in emergency care or as a district nurse.
