Falck provides mobile healthcare services and currently performs ambulance care, lying patient transport, and deceased transport on behalf of Region Östergötland. From October 1, 2026, Falck will also provide ambulance care for Region Skåne. As an ambulance nurse at Falck in Östergötland, you are often the first on the scene where your decisions save lives. We are looking for you who are a confident and driven specialist nurse and who want to become part of a team where your competence is challenged and developed every day.
As an ambulance nurse at Falck's ambulance operations, you will encounter an exciting and varied environment where you get to use the full breadth of your professional knowledge and skills. As a nurse, you have medical responsibility in the ambulance and you make medical prioritizations and decide on nursing and medical measures based on care needs. All this takes place in close teamwork with a colleague, where your cooperation and knowledge exchange are crucial to securing the best possible patient care.
Qualifications:
- Specialist Nurse in emergency care with a focus on ambulance care, or specialist education with a focus on emergency and accident care, anesthesia care, intensive care, pediatric care, midwife, or district nurse
- Have a B driver's license with good driving experience.
- Good physical fitness as heavy lifting of patients occurs, and swimming proficiency of 200 meters in any stroke
- Good Swedish in speech and writing
Meritorious:
- C1 driver's license
- Prehospital Medical Command (PS)
- Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

Other:
- Permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period beginning in January 2027. Work percentage according to agreement.
- Location: Your work area is Östergötland. Please state in your application which of our stations you are most interested in basing yourself from. Vacant positions are available in Motala and Kisa. Alternatively, a pool position is available, meaning you will work at all our stations in Östergötland: Kisa, Åtvidaberg, Ödeshög, Mjölby, Linköping, Motala.
- We view positively applicants from the entire region, such as you who might consider commuting from places like Tranås, Eksjö, or Västervik.
- The recruitment process includes several steps, including interviews, physical tests, and driving tests. We also conduct background checks in the form of checks with IVO/SoS and extracts from the police's criminal record register. Certificate of swimming proficiency will be requested.
