Physiotherapist for Neurorehabilitation Clinic, Nyköping Hospital

We are now looking for a physiotherapist for the Neurorehabilitation Clinic, a specialized outpatient service within Region Sörmland where we assess and rehabilitate patients who have recently suffered an acquired brain injury, such as stroke or traumatic brain injury. Our goal is to give patients the best possible conditions to regain function, participation, and independence in daily life.

As a physiotherapist, you will be part of the Physiotherapy unit within Paramedical Sörmland, which consists of approximately 30 employees across various operations. Our work group is characterized by broad competence and an open, inclusive, and supportive work climate. Your Responsibilities

Your duties as a physiotherapist at the Neurorehabilitation Clinic include assessing and rehabilitating patients who have suffered an acquired brain injury. Treatment is provided both individually and in groups, both on land and in our pool.

The work also involves:

• Fitting work-technical and orthopedic technical aids
• Conducting home visits when necessary
• Collaborating with the municipality, assistive technology consultants, orthotists, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and the patient's relatives
• Contributing to the development of rehabilitation efforts and methods within the organization.

The work is based on a patient-centered approach where the patient's goals and conditions are in focus. You will become part of a competent and engaged team consisting of various professions such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, assistant nurses, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, and medical secretaries. Together, we work to create a cohesive and high-quality rehabilitation process for our patients.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed physiotherapist
• Has an interest in neurological rehabilitation
• Thrives working both independently and in a team
• Has a good manner of dealing with people and a patient-centered approach
• Is flexible, responsible, and engaged in development work.

Experience in neurological rehabilitation is meritorious. A category B driver's license is desired. Personal suitability is given great weight.

Permanent employment with a start date as agreed.
