About Us

The Palliative Ward is a small workplace with great opportunities. Here, we provide high-quality specialized palliative care with the patient at the center. Patients with various diagnoses come to us, all receiving care in the final stages of life when curing the disease is no longer possible. We have 10 beds, all in private single rooms.

The Palliative Ward is part of the Medicine Clinic. We work in teams, in close collaboration between all professions. Within the operations, there is a care leader who works close to the operations, focusing on improvement work within our specialist area. We have close cooperation with the SSIH activity, which cares for palliative patients being treated at home.

We are now looking for you who have interest, commitment, and motivation to participate in providing high-quality palliative care, with the desire to "do that little extra" for the patient.

Your Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant on our ward, you are part of a team surrounding the patient. The way of working enables good care from a holistic perspective with the patient at the center. The main purpose of the work is to provide optimal quality of life and well-being for the patient and good support for relatives.

As a nursing assistant with us, you work days, evenings, and weekends. Your work requires good cooperation with other professions, but also the courage to work independently and, to some extent, make your own decisions.

Your Qualifications

You who apply are a nursing assistant with a professional certificate and have a great interest in caring for and meeting patients and relatives. You preferably have several years of professional experience and a good ethical sense.

We are looking for you who are engaged, sensitive, and accustomed to making contact with patients and relatives. You have good cooperation and planning skills and can view a situation from different perspectives. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Employment Type

Permanent employment on a full-time basis or according to agreement, with start date according to agreement.
