As a nursing assistant on Ward 34, you will be a significant part of pediatric care, which often involves supporting the whole family in various situations. We work in care pairs (nurse/nursing assistant) and have 12 beds. We collaborate closely with doctors, dietitians, social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. The ward also offers play therapy with specialized play therapists and has access to a hospital school with accompanying teachers.

On Ward 34, you will meet children and young people aged 0–18 with both acute and chronic conditions. We are a "small hospital within a large one," meaning we care for children with diagnoses in many different areas, including medicine, surgery, and orthopedics. The main medical areas are newly diagnosed diabetes, oncology, neurology, and infections.
