Welcome to Salem Rehab and Neuro Team

We are now looking for a new physiotherapy colleague to join Salem Health Centre/Rehab.

Do you want to work in an engaged and open work group together with skilled colleagues? We are currently looking for a Physiotherapist with an interest in neurology for a position at Salem Rehab, where we urgently need an additional physiotherapist in our neuro team. The neuro team consists of a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and counselor.

We can offer stimulating, varied, and developmental work with independent responsibility. Salem Rehab is part of Salem Health Centre. The neuro team's area covers Nykvarn Municipality, Södertälje Municipality, and Salem Municipality.

We are 65 colleagues at the entire health centre, of which 22 colleagues are at Salem Rehab. We are a continuously developing operation where we focus on the patient and strive for excellent care results, safe and secure care, as well as a good working environment with an active learning environment.

The position involves full-time work at Salem Rehab with the primary placement in the neuro team. Job Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist in the neuro team, you will meet adult patients with various types of neurological diseases. The work requires broad competence and independence in patient care. Most of the work takes place in patients' homes. In the Neuro Team, we work with a strong focus on teamwork; we have common goals and close collaboration within the team.

The tasks include, among other things:

  • Rehabilitation at home, individually and in teams.
  • Rehabilitation at the clinic.
  • Prescription of assistive devices.
  • Collaboration with other healthcare providers and relatives.
  • Supervision of students may be included.
  • Documentation in the journal system Take Care. Experience working in this system is considered an advantage.

Employment Type:

Permanent position, full-time 40 hours/week. Probationary period may apply.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed physiotherapist with a Bachelor's degree (180 hp) or Master's degree.
  • Neuro competence and/or work in primary care is an advantage.
  • Further education at the university level is valued.
  • A B-class driver's license is required.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirement applies to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
