We are now looking for several registered nurses for our new elderly care home, Attendo Roden in Norrtälje.

In January 2027, Attendo Roden will open – a completely new and modern elderly care home with 60 apartments distributed across 40 places for people with dementia and 20 somatic places. About the role
As a nurse at our care homes, you will have a varied job where you work long-term with health plans to increase the quality of life for residents, but it is also you who make assessments and make decisions about measures in acute situations. Your responsibilities also include offering good palliative care. The transition to "Close Care" means that more specialized healthcare interventions take place at the facility. This gives you a variety of stimulating and developing tasks. You have a leadership role with great opportunities to influence the business.

As a nurse within Attendo, you are significant and your competence is highly valued. The work is independent while you have access to many competent colleagues in our nurse networks. You are part of the team working to strengthen the individual.

Main responsibilities

  • Medication management
  • Work in national quality registers
  • Mentoring of care staff
  • Care responsibility for patients

Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, independent, and humble with the ability to prioritize. You enjoy mentoring and delegating care staff in health and medical tasks and are motivated by working together with your colleagues to create high-quality care for those living with us. You also have good digital skills and feel comfortable working in digital systems, seeing digital working methods as a natural support in daily work.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse
  • At least three years of professional experience, preferably within elderly care
  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
  • Category B driver's license

Merits if you also have:

  • Experience from working in private care operations
  • Experience in mentoring
  • Experience in starting up a business
  • Education in geriatrics or district nursing

About the recruitment process

Before any employment, extracts from the criminal record together with valid photo ID must be presented. If you are called for an interview, you need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.

Summary

Role: Registered Nurse
Employment type: Permanent, with a 6-month probation period
Hours: Full time 100% according to agreement.
Working hours: Daytime and every 3rd weekend.
Start date: December 2026 / January 2027
