Job Responsibilities
As a mechanical assembler, you will work at the heart of production, assembling generator sets and associated equipment at Coromatic. You will play a key role in ensuring that deliveries maintain the highest quality and are completed according to plan.
In your daily work, you will collaborate closely with team leaders and colleagues in the workshop. The work is carried out based on clear instructions from designers and involves close dialogue with the verification department.
Your tasks include:
- Assemble generator sets according to drawings and instructions
- Manufacture components based on drawing documentation
- Ensure work is performed with high quality and precision
- Identify and report deviations and contribute to solutions
- Participate in improvement work and product development
- Perform self-inspections before verification
- Support troubleshooting together with the verification department
- Be responsible for order, documentation, and material handling
- Ensure that tools and equipment are used and handled correctly
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you have a high school education in industry, vehicles, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience. You have previous experience with mechanical assembly and feel confident reading and understanding technical drawings.
It is an advantage if you have experience in service and maintenance, as well as skills in welding and sheet metal work. Experience with electrical installations or vehicle electronics is also a plus. Certificates for Hot Work or forklift licenses are also seen as advantages.
You are a person with a genuine technical and mechanical interest who works carefully and systematically. You take responsibility for your work, have a solution-oriented mindset, and thrive both working independently and as part of a team. At the same time, you have a desire to develop and contribute to improvements in the business.
