What does the role of Group Leader at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?
You are a role model and carrier of values, working to create a cohesive and strong team on the floor. You are part of the unit's local management and quality group. You are an integral part of the work team and have scheduled shifts in care. Examples of tasks for a Group Leader include: self-control checks, driving quality work according to plan, administering moves in and out, following up on SoL (Social Services Act) interventions and documentation in the system, and leading planning meetings, among others. About Björknäsgården Elderly Care Facility
Björknäsgården features 126 modern apartments distributed across two building blocks, with 3 to 4 floors per building. Each unit has a reception kitchen, dining room, living room, and a balcony or terrace where we socialize, eat meals, and engage in activities. On our beautiful courtyard, there are walking paths, a pergola, and an outdoor gym adapted for seniors.

We are looking for someone who has:
- A nursing and care program (Vård- och omsorgsprogrammet) or equivalent, plus work experience in elderly care (required).
- At least two years of relevant work experience, training as a group leader, or similar.
- It is an advantage if you have training or experience working with elderly people with reduced cognitive abilities.
- A solution-oriented approach to help the team achieve set goals.
- Good administrative skills and a genuine interest in the assignment.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of the Office package.
- Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Currently, we operate around 50 elderly care facilities with headquarters in Stockholm and an accounting and payroll office in Skene. Other information
Employment type: Permanent (6-month probationary period)
Scope: Full-time with allocated administrative time (approx. 20%).
Start date: As soon as possible
The assignment entails:
- The function is an assignment added to the position of nursing and care staff.
- An addendum agreement is signed between the employee and the employer for the assignment.
Probation: We apply a 6-month probationary period.
We offer individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
