About the role

As a Traffic Manager, you are responsible for planning and coordinating transports so that deliveries take place in an efficient and high-quality manner. The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with both customers, transporters, and internal functions.

You work proactively to find the best transport solutions and ensure that the right capacity is available. When conditions change, you act quickly and find solutions that work for customers, transporters, and the business.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Plan and optimize transports.
• Ensure the right transport capacity.
• Monitor transports in real-time and handle deviations.
• Purchase additional transport capacity and sell surplus cargo.
• Develop customer-specific logistics solutions.
• Work with documentation, quality follow-up, and result reporting.
• Provide support to our carriers in the transport system TMS Alystra.
• Contribute to close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal colleagues.

The role also involves participation in a rotating on-call duty.

We are looking for you who

You have previous experience in traffic management or transport planning and thrive in a role where you get to combine structure, problem-solving, and customer contact.

We believe you have:

• Post-secondary education in logistics or equivalent experience.
• Experience in traffic management or similar work.
• Good geographical knowledge of Sweden.
• Good computer skills and preferably experience with transport management systems, such as TMS Alystra.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience in logistics within the food industry.
