Your role

As an instructor within the mining education function, you and your team are responsible for training our new and existing employees in safety, machine operation, and work methods. Our goal is to continuously develop and improve LKAB by creating educational programs that contribute to the mining of the future.

Your focus area is preparation, which includes tunnel loading, rock support, scaling, crushing, and drilling. You will also, together with the team, be responsible for other training courses such as trucks, wheel loaders, Bobcats, tractor excavators, escape routes, lifts, cranes, and counterbalance forklifts.

Your overall responsibilities:

• Plan, conduct, and administer training
• Communicate with external and internal customers/suppliers
• Evaluate, update, and develop training materials

What you bring with you

To succeed in this role, we see that you are structured and detail-oriented. You also have an interest in safety, rock work, technology, and machinery. You communicate clearly and are accustomed to adapting your communication to different target groups. It is important that you are receptive, as the role involves collaboration with many different people. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and contributing to a learning climate where safety and development are in focus.

You also bring:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Category B driver's license for manual transmission
• Administrative skills and computer literacy
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Previous experience in some preparation tasks (e.g., tunnel loading, rock support, scaling, or crushing)

The following are meritorious:

• Category C driver's license
• Explosives license Class A
