About the role

As a CNC operator, you are responsible for maximizing machine utilization, maintenance, and ensuring correct settings. You control and program the machines in one of two shift teams consisting of operators and production managers. Together, you are responsible for the mechanical processing of workpieces, manufacturing of steel components, and quality assurance of the work performed.

The two-shift system means that you work Monday–Friday, 05:30–14:15 every other week, and 14:30–23:59 the alternate weeks.

About you

To succeed in the role, we see that you have experience working independently with controlled machines and that you master cutting processing. Furthermore, we look for someone who:

• can read drawings, including form and position tolerances, and understand the meaning of the drawing.
• is interested in programming and is familiar with different measuring methods and instruments.
• enjoys working in a team and is easy to collaborate with.
• has a strong sense of quality and attention to detail.

Experience with the business system Monitor and/or training in milling is considered meritorious.

As a person, you are meticulous and responsible, and you take pride in the quality of the work you perform. You are a team player who collaborates easily with colleagues but can also work independently. Furthermore, you are a problem solver who enjoys facing new challenges. The job requires good physical fitness as it may involve heavy lifting and long periods of standing.
