Are you an experienced and responsible forklift driver looking to work in the Uppsala area? Lernia is currently hiring forklift drivers for assignments with one of our clients in Uppsala. This role is perfect for you if you enjoy varied tasks, are detail-oriented, and have a strong sense of safety.

This is a short-term assignment starting in week 32, lasting approximately 5 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

About the Role

As a forklift driver, you are responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods in warehouse and production environments. You will be part of a team where planning, collaboration, and quality are key components for maintaining operational flow. Tasks may vary depending on the client's needs and can include picking, packing, and internal transportation.

Your main responsibilities include 50% forklift operation:

• Forklift operation and internal transport of goods
• Goods handling during receiving and delivery
• Picking and packing according to instructions
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Continuous reporting of discrepancies and damages
• Participation in inventory and order management
• Following safety procedures and contributing to a safe work environment

The role also involves 50% other tasks such as:

• Packaging, dishwashing, re-palletizing with vacuum lifters, etc.

About You

Formal Competence

• Valid forklift license (A/B or equivalent, depending on forklift type). Experience with counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts in warehouse or industrial environments
• Good understanding of safety procedures and occupational health requirements
• Proficient computer skills and experience using scanning or order management systems
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Work in high-bay warehouses or with order pickers
• Order picking systems, WMS, or ERP
• Work in shift-based operations
• A valid B-driver's license is an advantage

As a person, you are punctual, meticulous, and solution-oriented. You enjoy practical work, have good teamwork skills, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

• Employment Type: Temporary staffing assignment via Lernia (possibility of extension)
