Saab Dynamics in Karlskoga is growing and strengthening its logistics department with another driven and structured warehouse worker. You will handle shipments, transport of dangerous goods, and other warehouse tasks within the Björkborn area in Karlskoga.

Your Role

In this role, you will work with the entire logistics and transport process – from receiving incoming deliveries to securing outgoing shipments. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have experience from a similar position and are accustomed to handling counterbalance forklifts. We also work with larger forklifts for heavy goods (5–16 tons), which places high demands on safety and precision, making this role involve more advanced warehouse work. Tasks are performed in various climates and alternate between indoor and outdoor work.

Examples of tasks:

• Receiving, registering, and inspecting incoming goods, including dangerous goods.
• Preparation, securing, and dispatch of goods – correct documentation and transport.
• Forklift operation on varying surfaces and handling of heavier/larger goods, including side-loading/unloading from trucks.
• Internal transport of goods between production areas and warehouses.
• Preparing freight documents, booking transports, and handling customs clearance when necessary.
• Administration in business systems and daily use of the Office suite.
• Warehousing, inventory, and cleaning of storage areas.

Since the pace is high at times, it is important that you can handle multiple work processes simultaneously and quickly adapt to new conditions that arise.

You will be an important piece of the puzzle in our team. Therefore, we are looking for you who are a team player and who complements the group's competence by contributing your own drive, technical skills, and sense for logistics flows.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are hardworking, responsible, and have good initiative. You work in a structured manner, have good computer skills, and are good at prioritizing between different tasks.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have previous experience in warehouse work, while also having good administrative skills. You have knowledge of business systems/ERP and a deeper understanding of the Office suite, especially Excel.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, confident in the forklift, and used to working methodically even when the pace is high. You are a team player who is confident in your communication and has the ability to independently gather information and coordinate. Do you have experience in transport management, forklift operation, and preferably worked in a transport chain or as a driver with loading and unloading? Then you might be who we are looking for. If you also have experience from construction, carpentry, or similar practical work, we see it as meritorious.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English as the business receives visits from both Swedish and foreign customers.

To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Category B driver's license.
• Forklift licenses of types A1–A4, B1.
• Experience with dispatch, including handling freight documents and transport booking.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English for communication with both colleagues and external parties.
• Category B driver's license (meritorious if you have a license for medium/heavy trucks).

We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities in this recruitment, as cooperation and team spirit in the group are very important.

It is meritorious if you have previously completed training or worked with explosive goods or dangerous goods/ADR.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
