Slottsgården is a family-owned boutique hotel featuring a restaurant, bar, and event venue, beautifully situated next to Vadstena Castle and the shores of Lake Vättern. Do you want to help develop a kitchen where quality, creativity, and guest experience are at the center?

As Sous Chef at Slottsgården, you will be the Head Chef's closest colleague and a key leader in daily operations. You will work operationally in the kitchen while contributing structure, planning, and development. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence menus, working methods, and the guest experience, helping to shape the future of the business.

We are looking for someone driven by high-quality cooking, who enjoys taking responsibility and thrives in an environment where no two days are alike.

You will help plan menus, develop new dishes and concepts, and ensure that quality, ingredient handling, and workflows maintain a high standard. You also have an eye for structure and economics through working with orders, inventory, and waste control.

Since we are a small and flexible operation, your role will be both varied and developmental. In addition to the daily restaurant operations, you will be involved in our weddings, conferences, events, and catering assignments. You will collaborate closely with other departments and contribute to ensuring every guest receives an experience that exceeds expectations.

  • Has several years of experience as a chef, preferably with prior experience in a leadership role.
