Welcoming atmosphere and customer service: Through good hospitality and deep knowledge of our products and routines, you make our customers and colleagues feel warmly welcome. You always strive to provide the best possible service and make every customer interaction memorable.

Daily tasks: Actively participate in the daily operations of the store, where your efforts are crucial for the store to meet and exceed customer expectations. This includes everything from restocking shelves, working at the checkout and bistro, to keeping the workplace clean and well-organized. At Eko, working at the checkout is part of all positions, and we collaborate across department boundaries as needed. It is also a given for us that every employee contributes to a positive work environment. The position involves working in all departments, described below:

Groceries

In the groceries department, we handle large volumes of fast-moving goods. A high pace is standard, and order and tidiness are essential. Daily date checks and handling the assortment, including new and outgoing products, are part of the routine. Campaigns, orders, signage, and displays are also part of the daily work.

Home

In our Home department, we offer customers inspiration and decoration, along with a wide range of products for the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. We have a strong interest in the latest trends, combined with the ability to keep the departments well-stocked and inspiring for our customers. Campaigns, orders, signage, and displays are also an important part of our daily work.

Clothing & Toys

Clothing and Toys are two of our largest departments. These departments adapt to the seasons. In the Toys department, this means we rearrange several times a year to adjust to summer and winter seasons. In Clothing, we stay updated with the latest fashion trends, where new arrivals and sales follow one another. As an employee, it is important that you have good organizational skills and can prioritize your tasks. Campaigns, signage, and displays are also part of the daily work.

Seasonal

Seasonal shopping is a central part of Eko. We adapt from Christmas to Easter and summer. This department undergoes continuous changes, and your ability to plan and organize is crucial. Enthusiasm for restructuring and decorating according to our concept is important for the role. We also offer food from different parts of the world, which means date control and food handling are part of the tasks.

Experience and qualifications

  • Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are required for this position.
  • Previous retail experience is required.
  • A forklift license is an advantage, but the willingness and ability to operate a forklift is a requirement.

The position

We are open 9 AM – 8 PM every day. Evenings and weekends are included in the work schedule.

The position is a part-time job with varying hours, typically 5–25 hours per week.

Start date: According to agreement.

Last day to apply: August 15, 2026. We hire on a rolling basis, which means the position may be filled before the application deadline.
