Are you an experienced and responsible forklift driver looking to work in the Uppsala area? Lernia is currently recruiting forklift drivers for assignments with one of our clients in Uppsala. This position is ideal for you who thrive on varied tasks, are detail-oriented, and have a strong safety awareness.

This is a short-term assignment starting in week 32, lasting approximately 5 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

About the Role

As a forklift driver, you are responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods in warehouse and production environments. You will be part of a team where planning, collaboration, and quality are key components in maintaining operational flow. Tasks may vary depending on the client's needs and can include picking, packing, and internal transport.

Your main responsibilities include 50% forklift operation:

• Forklift operation and internal transport of goods
• Goods handling during receipt and delivery
• Picking and packing according to instructions
• Loading and unloading of vehicle units
• Continuous reporting of discrepancies and damages
• Participation in inventory and order processing
• Following safety procedures and contributing to a safe working environment

The role also involves 50% other tasks such as:

• Packaging, dishwashing, palletizing with vacuum lifters, etc.

About You

Formal Competence

• Valid forklift license (A/B or equivalent depending on forklift type)
• Experience with forklift operation in warehouse or industrial environments
• Good understanding of safety procedures and occupational health requirements
• Good computer skills and experience using scanning or order management systems
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Work in high-bay warehouses or with stackers
• Order picking systems, WMS, or ERP
• Work in shift-based operations
• A driver's license (Category B) is an advantage

As a person, you are punctual, detail-oriented, and solution-focused. You enjoy practical work, have good collaboration skills, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
