The Medicine Clinic at Lindesberg Hospital is a workplace with a friendly and family-like atmosphere combined with efficiency and extensive expertise. The collaboration climate is very good, with a flat hierarchy and good collegial support.

Full-time substitute position from as soon as possible until 2027-08-17, with a possible extension.

Job Responsibilities

The Medicine Clinic offers services in various areas/clinics such as day care, diabetes, stroke, cardiology, memory clinic, asthma/COPD/smoking cessation, anticoagulation clinic, and telephone advice.

Here, two nursing assistants work with a broad range of knowledge and many years of experience. As a nursing assistant, you will meet patients who come to the clinic or assist during doctor and nurse visits. With your care and excellent interpersonal skills, you create value for the patients and your colleagues. The job includes various clinic tasks such as ECG examinations, dressing changes/wound care, assisting during clinic visits, etc. The nursing assistants work together with doctors, medical care administrators, biomedical analysts, nurses, and a medical podiatry specialist.

Qualifications

We welcome you if you are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on emergency care according to the previous program structure, or are trained as a nursing assistant within the current program structure. To assess employability, grades from your healthcare education and proof from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) regarding the protected professional title must be attached to your application.

It is important that you are willing to develop, are flexible, have the ability to plan and organize your work, and have the desire to contribute to development and improvement work. You naturally treat patients and colleagues with care and respect. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You must have knowledge of Swedish corresponding to EU level C1.

Competence Development

All new employees receive introductory material regarding work at the clinic, and we create an individual introduction plan. Once you are settled in the job, there is an opportunity to take on specific areas of responsibility that allow you to continue developing in your professional role. Lindesberg Hospital also has a Clinical Training Centre (KTC) that offers various walkthroughs/courses.
