The Fortification Agency is looking for a Property Engineer for Oskarshamn.

Your daily life as a Property Engineer
To the technical department within the South East region, we are now looking for a Property Engineer based in Oskarshamn. The unit consists of a Technical Manager and approximately 20 Property Engineers located in the towns of Eksjö, Karlskrona, and Ronneby.
In the role of Property Engineer, the main tasks will include smaller maintenance projects, inspection of properties and their technical installations, as well as related administration in our property database system.
You will work with a mix of operations and maintenance. Your responsibility will include contributing to smooth operations and ensuring that the facility is managed sustainably. Working with maintenance planning and budgeting for planned measures are common tasks. Purchasing of consumables will be one of several tasks.
You will also work closely with the local property manager and operations manager. Your role will be to provide the property manager with the basis for a long-term maintenance plan and to assist the operations manager in daily operations.
Other common tasks include handling additional orders from operations and maintaining close dialogue with our partners.
Travel within the entire region is required.
Qualifications
A completed upper secondary school diploma is required for the position. You must also have several years of documented experience in the management and operation of technical installations. Furthermore, you have experience from the property sector, either in a client role or in a supervisory position, such as site manager, foreman, maintenance engineer, or in another equivalent role.
It is an advantage if you have experience working in an operation covered by the Security Protection Act, as well as knowledge of and experience with public procurement according to LOU and/or LUFS. We also look positively upon if you have authorization as an electrician (A or AL). Documented experience in working with electrical installations is also an advantage. You also have several years of experience leading projects in the field.
Furthermore, an engineering degree in installation, electrical engineering, or another technical direction is an advantage. Fortification, economic, or other relevant education deemed equivalent by the employer is also considered an advantage.

You are curious and keep yourself updated in your technical field. You actively absorb new knowledge and follow developments in property operations, technical installations, and relevant working methods.
You are confident in your professional role and can make decisions even in complex situations. You have the ability to communicate clearly, stand by your assessments, and handle dialogues with different actors in a professional manner.

About the employment
The position is a permanent employment, although a probationary period may apply. Location: Oskarshamn. Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as positions at the Fortification Agency are security classified.
