The Production Services group consists of Stockholm International Fairs' specialists in booth and event construction. The unit is responsible for creating creative booth solutions for customers and internal environments such as stages, restaurants, inspiration areas, partner booths, and exhibitions. We furnish and equip trade show booths, event spaces, and meeting rooms. The delivery organization is built on a combination of employed staff and resources via external partners.

Do you have experience from custom-built constructions for trade shows and events? We are now looking for a Supervisor, Production Services, with a focus on aluminum and wood construction.

We offer a fun and varied assignment

• Overall and event-specific production planning of construction deliveries.
• Quotation calculations, reviewing drawings, planning, calculating, and preparing orders for construction deliveries, wood, and aluminum.
• Participate in internal production meetings to coordinate work with other professional groups.
• Plan, schedule, and staff hired carpenters.
• Supervise and distribute work for hired carpenters in the hall organization during construction, move-in, move-out, and dismantling.
• Continuously monitor order intake and inventory to ensure any purchases of construction materials and rental of equipment.
• Ensure the assignment is delivered on time and, if necessary, reallocate available resources.
• Ensure that operational staff are happy and follow current guidelines.
• Participate in follow-up and evaluation.

You are skilled in production planning and are an experienced construction manager

To thrive with us and in this specific assignment, you should be an experienced production leader with specific experience in construction. Production planning requires you to be meticulous, structured, and methodical. Production leadership can be hectic at times with many contact surfaces. It helps to be able to prioritize, be solution-oriented, and decisive.

The candidate has the following education and experience

• Three-year upper secondary education.
• Several years of experience in supervision, resource, and production planning of custom-built constructions and complex deliveries to trade shows and events.
• Education in leadership, working environment, and knowledge of construction technical issues.
• Experience in staffing and scheduling is an advantage.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and knowledge of drawing programs.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license / lift license / forklift license.
