About the Role

As a driver with us, you will work with transporting cars between our facilities, customers, and partners. You will often be the face of Bilsmidigt during deliveries or pickups, making service, responsibility, and punctuality crucial.

The work is varied and suits you if you are self-motivated, flexible, and solution-oriented. Unexpected situations may arise during drives, which is why we value people who can think independently, solve problems, and keep customers updated in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

As a driver, your tasks will include among others:

• Planning and booking weekly drives in coordination with our team
• Transporting cars between our various facilities
• Delivering cars to customers across Sweden
• Picking up cars from customers, suppliers, and partners
• Updating customers during transit and planning arrival times
• Testing customer cars according to the test protocol upon pickup
• Documenting any discrepancies, damages, or defects
• Solving unexpected problems that may arise during drives

Transportation is usually done by car, but travel by bus, train, or plane may also occur.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is confident behind the wheel, has a positive attitude, and enjoys taking responsibility. You need to be punctual, structured, and able to handle customer contact professionally.

To fit the role, you must:

• Hold a B-driver's license for manual cars
• Have good driving experience
• Have access to your own car to commute to our logistics center
• Be able to take at least 4 drives per week
• Be flexible and available for drives at inconvenient hours
• Be able to work evenings, nights, and early mornings for longer drives
• Have a clean criminal record (no convictions in the Swedish National Register of Criminal Records)
• Be punctual, structured, and responsible
• Have a service-oriented and positive attitude towards customers
• Use the mobile phone responsibly, safely, and legally while driving.

Experience in car transport, customer contact, logistics, route planning, or similar work is a plus.

The role starts as a temporary hourly position, but for the right person, there is a possibility to take on more drives, greater responsibility, and eventually grow into a more central role within our logistics operations.

This could involve responsibility for deliveries, route planning, customer contact, car testing, coordinating other drivers, or other roles within Bilsmidigt.

Employment and Compensation

The position starts as an hourly employment with a salary of 130 SEK per hour, including vacation pay.

Our logistics center is located away from public transport, meaning access to your own car is a requirement.
