About the Role
In the role of Traffic Manager, you will work in a team handling time-critical and prioritized transports within international flows. The focus is on road transport within Europe, where you are responsible for planning, follow-up, and coordination to ensure that deliveries take place according to set timeframes and quality requirements.
The role involves significant personal responsibility and requires you to be structured, communicative, and solution-oriented. You will work closely with both internal functions and external partners, playing a key role in quickly handling deviations when conditions change.
You will become part of a tight-knit team with high engagement, where collaboration, responsibility, and development are central parts of everyday life.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily cargo load planning
- Planning of tractor units and coordination of intermodal transports
- Frequent communication with drivers, transport companies, and customers via email and phone
- Follow-up of deliveries according to internal routines
- Registration and reporting of transports in Excel and customer-specific systems
- Ensuring that deliveries take place according to scheduled time slots
- Participation in weekly team meetings and KPI follow-ups
This assignment requires a high degree of responsibility, precision, and the ability to make independent decisions under pressure.
The position is a consultancy assignment where you will be employed by Emploid and hired as a consultant to our client, with good opportunities for permanent recruitment afterwards.
About You
To succeed in the role, you are self-motivated, proactive, and quick to adapt to new flows and working methods. You have a good understanding of what punctuality and quality mean in the transport chain and are confident in prioritizing when multiple tasks occur simultaneously.
You thrive in a role that combines analysis with extensive communication, where collaboration is crucial for the result. At the same time, you are not afraid to take responsibility and drive your work forward independently.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience from the transport/logistics industry or a similar role
- Good computer skills and comfort with Excel
- Very good communication skills in Swedish and English
- Understanding of what is required in a role where you independently manage time-critical flows
- Merits if you have knowledge of CargoLink, Eplan, or the German language
