Terminal Operator (Fixed-term contract 1 year) – Circle K Terminal Malmö

About the role

We are now looking for a Terminal Operator for our Oil Terminal (Oljehamnen) in Malmö for a one-year fixed-term contract.

As a Terminal Operator, you will become part of an engaged team responsible for the daily operations of the terminal. Together, you ensure that the business is conducted safely, efficiently, and with high quality.

The role is varied and suits you who enjoy both practical work and technical systems. You will work closely with colleagues, contractors, and tanker truck drivers in a business where safety, collaboration, and responsibility permeate everything we do.

About the Terminal Unit within Global Fuel

The Terminal Unit within Global Fuel is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Circle K's terminals in Europe – a total of 19 terminals in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Ireland, and Germany – as well as three terminals in the USA.

We are also responsible for implementing terminal-related investment and improvement projects. The business comprises around 100 employees and is characterized by a high focus on safety, responsibility, and close collaboration between our terminals.

About the role

As a Terminal Operator, you work together with your colleagues to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operation of the terminal.

The work is varied and includes both practical tasks at the facility and monitoring of the terminal's processes from the control room. You will collaborate with colleagues, tanker truck drivers, contractors, and other internal functions to ensure that the business runs smoothly – every day.

No two days are alike, and you have the opportunity to develop in a business where safety, quality, and continuous improvements are in focus.

Your responsibilities

You will among other things:

• Perform operational, control, and maintenance work according to current procedures.
• Ensure that safety, occupational health, and quality procedures are followed.
• Participate in the terminal's on-call duty, according to schedule.
• Collaborate with contractors during maintenance work.
• Document completed work and report deviations.
• Contribute to developing and improving our working methods.

We believe you have

• Technical education or equivalent work experience within, for example, industry, process, electricity, mechanics, or automation.
• Experience from an oil depot, process industry, or other technical operations is meritorious but not a requirement.
• Good technical understanding and an interest in how facilities and processes work.
• Good computer skills.
• Category B driver's license.

Since our corporate language is English, you need to be able to communicate in both Swedish and English.
