We are now looking for an experienced Steel Specialist who will play a key role in developing our approach to steelwork. You will be given significant scope to help shape the role itself and will have great opportunities for independent and autonomous work. As a Steel Specialist, you will work largely on various projects as well as other office-related tasks. You will become an important part of our project teams and will be responsible for ensuring quality and structure throughout the entire process – from planning to implementation and follow-up. You will collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and colleagues within the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and create structures for steel construction in projects.
• Ensure and follow up on control plans.
• Conduct factory inspections and site inspections.
• Review drawings and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with various project stakeholders to drive the work forward.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

• Several years of professional experience with complex steel structures, preferably within grid projects.
• Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Documented knowledge and training in EN1090 Steel Construction.
• Category B driver's license (travel for work purposes occurs).
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Contractor inspections.
• Contract law.
• Steel construction within the energy sector.
• Experience with power lines.
• Practical experience in the assembly of steel structures.

In this role, you will work together with several different stakeholders, and we value your ability to build trust and establish good relationships. Being meticulous in your work and caring about quality are also important traits for this role. You need to be someone who takes initiative and drives your work forward.
