Construction Worker for Assignment in Fagersta/Norberg – Full-time until December 30, 2026, with possibility of extension

Assignment duration: Start date by agreement, running until December 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

We are now looking for an experienced construction worker for a full-time position within operations, maintenance, and construction work. This assignment is suitable for you who are self-sufficient, practically experienced, and accustomed to varied ground and construction work.

Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Working hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 06:30–16:00
• Friday: 06:30–13:00

Workplace: The work is performed on-site in Fagersta/Norberg. You must be able to report to the workplace at 06:30 according to the schedule.

Job Responsibilities

You will work with practical construction work within operations, maintenance, and construction. The tasks may include, among other things:

• Construction work
• Adjustment of surfaces and ground
• Stone setting/paving
• Gardening and green area work
• Assembly of playground equipment
• Assembly/repair of fences
• Work related to lighting
• Other common operational and maintenance work

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must meet all of the following requirements:

• You have APV training (Practical Driving License for Construction Equipment).
• You have knowledge and experience in construction work.
• You have experience in ground adjustment.
• You have experience in stone setting/paving.
• You have experience in gardening or green area work.
• You have experience in assembling playground equipment.
• You have experience in assembling or working with fences.
• You have experience in work related to lighting.
• You have training in silica dust safety (kvartsdamm).
• You have training in safe excavation (säkra schakt).
• You have training in safe lifting (säkra lyft).
• You have a valid training/certificate for hot work.
• You have a B-driver's license for manual transmission.
• You can work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• You can work on-site in Fagersta/Norberg and start the workday at 06:30.

Merits

It is an advantage if you:

• Have previous experience working for municipal operations, public environments, water and wastewater services, or technical operations.
• Are available with a short notice period.
• Have your own means of transportation to the workplace in Fagersta/Norberg.
• Have documented course certificates and certificates ready to be submitted immediately.
• Have experience working independently in small teams.
