Your Role

As a Contract Quality Manager, you have overall responsibility for the quality assurance of our contracts. Together with other functions in the business, you ensure that implementation and deliveries are carried out on time, with the right quality, and at the right cost. You work closely with several functions within both the business unit and the business area, and have regular contact with customers, both nationally and internationally.

In the role, you are responsible for, among other things:

• serving as the overall quality lead for a specific contract or program
• acting as the contact person for customer quality representatives
• ensuring that our deliveries meet the customer's requirements
• approving, or declining if necessary, deliveries to the customer
• planning and conducting delivery inspections
• developing quality plans and translating customer requirements and expectations into the organization
• collaborating with quality functions and other roles in various parts of the business
• participating in quotation work and providing support in costing and contract structuring

Depending on your previous experience, the role may also include planning and conducting quality audits, as well as working with risk management in contract execution. Here you play a key role in creating structure, driving improvement, and contributing to the mission of keeping people and societies safe.

The role is based in Karlskoga.

Your Profile

We believe that you who apply for this role have several years of experience in quality work within production, purchasing, or development. You have a good ability to listen, communicate, and lead quality work within your contracts in a way that builds trust and drives the work forward.

You have a university degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge and competence in a relevant field. Furthermore, you have experience with business systems, quality systems, and standards, as well as quality assurance and improvement work. You are accustomed to translating requirements into concrete activities and have experience working in complex programs and projects in an international environment. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

As a person, you are driven and independent in your approach to work. You take responsibility, work methodically and solution-oriented, and want to contribute to the development of both product and business. You are operational and get things done while also having the ability to think strategically and commercially. The role involves contact with customers through both written correspondence and meetings, which makes it important that you have understanding and respect for different cultures and values. You also thrive in an environment where conditions change and therefore have a natural flexibility in your way of working.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
