We are currently looking for a Factory Systems Support Specialist for an exciting assignment with an international industrial company in Gothenburg. Here you will have a unique opportunity to be part of a comprehensive digital transformation where new production and business systems are implemented in the factory environment.

You will become part of a project aimed at creating a modern, stable, and future-proof IT environment for production. During the first phase of the project, you will receive training, build your competence, and actively participate in the implementation. After this, the role transitions into a long-term support function where you will become a key person for the daily operations of the business.

As a Factory Systems Support Specialist, you work close to production and are responsible for supporting and further developing the factory's IT and OT systems. The role is practical and business-oriented, combining technical problem-solving with a strong focus on user support and continuous improvements.

You will primarily:

• Participate in the implementation, testing, training, and commissioning of new factory systems.
• Provide qualified second-line support for production-related IT and OT systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in close collaboration with users, project teams, and global IT functions.
• Work with system configuration, documentation, and improvement work.
• Ensure a stable and efficient system environment for production.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and training for the business's users.

This is not a traditional service desk role, but a business-oriented specialist role where you get to work hands-on in the factory environment and take significant responsibility for ensuring stable production.

Scope of assignment: Full-time, 100%
Employment type: Fixed-term employment as a consultant via JobBusters.
Work model: The work takes place primarily on-site at the factory. After the introductory period, there is an opportunity to work from home 1–2 days per week when the tasks allow. During the introductory and training period, the work is performed on-site full-time.
Start: As soon as possible.
End: The assignment begins as a consultant in a larger implementation project with the ambition to transition into a long-term specialist role.

To be successful in this role, you need:

• A post-secondary education in IT, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or application support, preferably within an industrial or production environment.
• Experience troubleshooting in Windows environments as well as basic networking knowledge.
• Experience working with case management in systems such as ServiceNow or similar ITSM systems.
• Knowledge of ITIL or established support processes.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Meritorious: Experience with production-related systems such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Track & Trace solutions, SCADA/PLC, or other OT-related systems.
