We are looking for a Head of Service at Bacán

Do you have a passion for world-class service, love sales, and have a genuine interest in wine? Do you want to help develop both people and guest experiences? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

As the Head of Service at Bacan, you will become a key figure in our team. You will lead the service team during your shifts and actively work to create a restaurant experience that exceeds guests' expectations. You will have special responsibility for wine, upselling, and the training of our service staff.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the service staff during service.
• Distribute stations and ensure an efficient workflow.
• Ensure high service quality and professional hospitality.
• Coach and train staff in service, sales, and guest relations.
• Be responsible for the restaurant's wine selection, wine service, and wine recommendations.
• Train staff in wine and beverage knowledge.
• Drive upselling and develop the team's sales skills.
• Handle guest issues and complaints in a professional manner.
• Collaborate closely with the restaurant manager, kitchen, and bar to create a smooth guest flow.
• Serve as a role model and contribute to a positive work environment.

• Has several years of experience in restaurant service.
• Has a strong interest in food, drinks, and especially wine.
• Is a natural leader who motivates and develops others.
• Is service-oriented, solution-focused, and humble.
• Has a strong commercial mindset and enjoys selling.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains calm even during intense service shifts.
• Has good organizational skills and an eye for detail.
