We are now looking for a Cloud Network Architect for our client in the defense industry, where you will play a central role in designing and developing the global IT infrastructure of the future.

About the Role

In the role of IT Architect within Connectivity, you will design and develop future network and platform solutions with a focus on cloud connectivity. You will become part of a competent infrastructure team, working closely with network teams and other platform functions.

The role involves a combination of strategic work and operational implementation, ensuring that IT solutions are designed according to business needs, regulatory requirements, and overarching architecture principles.

You will have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, define standards, and contribute to the development of a global and scalable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and define need profiles
• Design network solutions and cloud connectivity architecture
• Create target architecture, roadmap, and service portfolio
• Contribute to technical decisions and investment cases
• Ensure IT supports business goals and strategies
• Define principles, standards, and guidelines
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
• Coordinate architecture across business, information, infrastructure, and security
• Act as technical support for service owners, managers, and other stakeholders
• Communicate and present solutions to various target groups

What We Are Looking For

• Relevant university degree or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in IT architecture and infrastructure
• In-depth knowledge of networking and connectivity
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments
• Good understanding of IT architecture at multiple levels
• Ability to switch between strategic and operational work
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Virtual WAN, AWS Transit Gateway
• Experience with ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and SD-WAN
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture
• Experience with cloud networking and connectivity
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure solutions and service design
• Experience with automation in networking and cloud

The position is flexibly located in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Malmö, Linköping, Jönköping, or Karlskrona, with the possibility of some remote work. Travel may occur, both nationally and internationally.
