About the role

Working hours: According to agreement. Approximately 2 days per week, approx. 4 hours per visit. Proposed working hours: 08:00–12:00.

Schedule: Every other weekend and two weekdays the following week is desirable.

Location: Picturesque area in Upplands Väsby.

Since it is difficult to get here by public transport, you must have a driver's license and access to a car. A driver's license may also be required for the position.

Job Description – Nurse

As a nurse in this role, you will work closely with a life-experienced and positive person in a home environment, focusing on creating security, independence, and quality of life in everyday life. The work is varied and combines medical responsibility with practical and social support.

Your main tasks include supporting daily morning routines. You will also help with educational meals and lighter household chores to ensure a functional and pleasant home environment. The role also involves accompanying the person to activities and doctor's visits, and actively contributing to preventing social isolation through conversation and social presence.

An important part of the work is ensuring that prescribed medications are taken correctly and assisting with medication administration according to current guidelines. You will also support and motivate regular physical activity, as the person lives with osteoarthritis and arthritis, which cause some stiffness and a need for daily activation and exercise several times a week.

You will work in an environment where interests such as exercise, culture, literature, and societal issues are a natural part of daily life. Therefore, it is important that you are sensitive and engaged in creating a meaningful and stimulating existence. There is also a friendly dog in the home, so it is positive if you enjoy being around animals.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with at least three years of professional experience. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to work independently with great responsibility. As a person, you are empathetic, patient, and have a professional approach in both physical and emotional care situations.

You have good communication skills, are flexible in your working methods, and have a genuine commitment to contributing to the well-being and social life of others. The role requires very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good physical fitness. Experience in similar tasks is meritorious.

Furthermore, you are punctual, proactive, and actively contribute to creating a safe, stable, and positive environment for the person you work with.
