We are looking for a new Lead Technician based at our site in Cloud, Överturingen!

A snapshot of your day
As our Lead Technician, you are responsible for the daily management and supervision of the service technicians to ensure efficient planning and execution of service, operations, and warranty for turbines in your service area. Build a long-term perspective with the team to ensure that Siemens Gamesa delivers high performance and value to the customer.

How you will make an impact

• Execute tasks delegated by the responsible Operations Manager. Coordinate, plan, and execute service, operations, and support for the assigned site or traveling technical team, including resource planning, leave, and work schedules in collaboration with central planning.
• Ensure that safety is #1; all technicians have adequate training, safety equipment, work instructions, and risk assessments before starting any work.
• Continuously follow up on and improve incident handling to implement improvements.
• Ensure that site personnel and subcontractors are informed of and follow the agreed overall EHS routines and the site-specific EHS plan within the organization.
• Leverage local and regional technical support to resolve issues at the sites.
• Take corrective actions, address deficiencies, and make improvements to drive the service team forward.
• Responsible for the continuous development and improvement of productivity and KPIs, as well as other site/contract goals supported by the Ops Manager.
• Provide monthly reporting to customers and manage the site's monthly meetings with the customer, supported by the Ops Manager. Build long-term relationships with the customer as the site contact and with suppliers to create lasting partnerships.
• Manage work under varying conditions to adapt the planning of jobs and resources to meet contractual obligations, optimize WF production, and team productivity.
• Manage the team to complete and maintain necessary and accurate documentation and registers.
• Site administration includes reporting, order management, maintaining registers, etc.

What you bring
Passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading change.

The ideal candidate has a technical/vocational degree, and it is desirable that you have an electrical and/or mechanical background and experience. You have a few years of experience in a leadership/team lead role.

In this role, you should also:

• Demonstrate highly effective planning and organizational skills.
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and preferably have experience with wind turbines.
• Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Have fluent English skills – both oral and written. Swedish is a strong advantage.
• You have a driver's license (Category B).
• You must be physically fit and not afraid of heights. A medical examination is required, including the Swedish "mast and pole certificate".
