Job Description

We are nearly 300 employees in the region stretching from Gävle all the way up to Kiruna. We deliver tomorrow's infrastructure solutions to our customers. To the Luleå section with colleagues in Piteå, we are now looking for a new Climate and Sustainability Consultant.

AFRY works on large infrastructure projects and wants these to have as little impact on the environment as possible. Work involving collaboration and coordination of measures to reduce the climate impact of various projects, as well as work with circular economy and holistic solutions from a lifecycle perspective, will characterize your daily work. AFRY also conducts development work nationally where you are expected to take on the role of regional representative in addition to your project work and spread the results within the region's projects.

Examples of tasks may include:

• Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Life Cycle Costing (LCC)
• Investigations
• Development work
• Mentoring junior employees
• Developing infrastructure solutions with a focus on sustainability
• Climate calculations and climate modeling
• Proposals for measures to reduce CO2 emissions
• Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)

You will be based at our office in Luleå or Piteå.

Qualifications

You are an educated engineer with a specialization in climate, sustainability, environment, or similar, and have a few years of experience in climate calculation or related technology. We would appreciate if you have experience with life cycle assessments, circular economy, and sustainable infrastructure solutions. Furthermore, experience with GIS is meritorious. A valid B-driving license is required, as well as proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
