About the role

We are currently looking for an engaged and solution-oriented Transport Manager for one of our clients. Do you have experience from the transport or logistics industry and thrive in a role where you combine planning, customer contact, and problem-solving? Then this might be the job for you.

Responsibilities

As a Transport Manager, you will play a central role in daily operations. You are responsible for planning and coordinating the company's transports and ensuring that deliveries are carried out in an efficient and cost-conscious manner. A key part of the job is selling transport services and establishing efficient routes for the company's own vehicle fleet. You will continuously work on optimizing driving schedules and finding the best transport solutions based on customer needs.

The role involves many contact points where you have daily dialogue with both customers and drivers. You follow up on transports, handle changes that may arise during the day, and ensure that operations run according to plan. It is therefore important that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize when multiple things happen simultaneously.

Profile & Background

We prefer that you have previous experience within transport and logistics, for example as a Transport Manager, Traffic Controller, Freight Forwarder, or in a similar role. Experience with transport planning or sales of transport services is a plus.

As a person, you are structured, service-oriented, and solution-focused. You communicate easily with different types of people and enjoy taking responsibility and making decisions. You are computer literate and accustomed to working in various business and planning systems.

We are looking for someone available for immediate start and who can quickly get up to speed with the work.

Working Hours

The position is full-time, and working hours are scheduled during the day, typically 07:00–16:00. On some days, working hours may be 08:00–17:00 depending on operational needs.
