We are looking for a business-driven and strategic Chief Operations & Finance Officer (COFO) who wants to take overall responsibility for our operational activities and financial management. This is a key role for you, motivated by creating results through people, structure, and continuous development. The role is newly established and created to further strengthen the company's ability to combine operational excellence with business management and continued growth.

As COFO, you will become a central member of the management team and play a crucial role in translating the company's strategy into concrete business development. You lead and develop several of the company's most important functions and ensure that the organization has the right prerequisites for continued growth, profitability, and delivery capability.

About the role

In this role, you are responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing the company's operational activities and financial management. You act as the link between the company's long-term goals and daily operations by ensuring that organization, resources, processes, and financial monitoring support the business in the best possible way.

You have overall responsibility for creating structure, clarity, and collaboration between the various functions of the business, as well as developing the organization's ability to achieve set goals.

Furthermore, you are responsible for budgets, forecasts, and monitoring of business and profitability. You are also responsible for investment calculations and preparing financial decision-making materials for the management team and the board.

You lead through the business via four direct reports, with indirect responsibility for approximately 30 employees within production, logistics, and technology. You also have direct personnel responsibility for the company's accounting function and ensure professional financial management with a focus on analysis, monitoring, and decision support.

As COFO, you will become a central member of the management team, alongside the CEO and Sales Director.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who combines a strong business focus with a genuine interest in leadership and business development. You have the ability to switch between strategic issues and operational execution, while being an engaged leader who creates commitment, clarity, and accountability. You are accustomed to leading through other managers and building independent, high-performing teams.

You have extensive experience from industrial operations and possess good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and business monitoring. You likely hold an academic degree in economics, engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent. Proficiency in ERP and business systems is also essential, as is good proficiency in Swedish and English.

Knowledge of Lean, OEE, Six Sigma, or other improvement methods is considered an asset. Experience with digitalization and data analysis is also seen as a benefit.

You have good analytical skills and an easy ability to see the big picture. As a leader, you easily inspire others, communicate well, and build good relationships. The assignment also requires that you are accustomed to working with good planning and structure.
