Are you looking for a meaningful summer job? Do you enjoy working with children and speaking Swedish?

We are currently looking for cheerful, engaged, and responsible Swedish-speaking babysitters to join our team in Stockholm – with a focus on the summer, especially July and August. We would appreciate it if you could take on shorter assignments during this period.

At Upgrades, babysitting is much more than just childcare. We offer a unique concept where pedagogy and the development of the Swedish language are at the center of the care provided.

We currently have assignments throughout the Stockholm area, including central Stockholm, Danderyd, Lidingö, and Täby, as well as in several other areas where childcare is conducted in Swedish.

Please note that this is a part-time/summer job, and therefore you need to have another primary occupation. A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is always required upon employment.

Our Assignments

Upgrades offers childcare with a focus on the Swedish language in various forms – from occasional occasions to long-term collaborations where you become an important part of the family's daily life.

We match you with the right family based on your preferences regarding the children's age, number of children, and your availability.

In addition to childcare, Upgrades also offers language training. We are constantly looking for creative and motivating language coaches for children and young people. This is an additional opportunity for you if you wish to have multiple assignments and are passionate about teaching languages.

During the summer, especially during the period of July 7–August 25, we offer several shorter assignments. We are looking for you who have the possibility to take on one or more assignments during this period and want to make a difference for our families and children.

Your Profile

As a babysitter at Upgrades, you are warm, secure, and have a genuine interest in working with children. You are playful, engaged, and proactive, creating natural and meaningful moments where children can develop their Swedish through play and everyday situations.

We are looking for someone who:

• has full professional proficiency in Swedish
• naturally takes responsibility, is patient, and safety-conscious
• has strong social competence
• has a genuine interest in childcare and language
• is reliable, secure, and professional
• is positive, engaged, and flexible, and thrives in a role where you take initiative and create activities

It is an advantage if you have previous experience or knowledge in speech pedagogy or children's language development.

For some of our summer assignments, knowledge of English (or other languages) is a requirement, while for others it is seen as an advantage.
