We are now looking for flexible and engaged employees for station cleaning during the period of April–August. This is a perfect summer job for you who want to work during the summer and contribute to ensuring our travelers are met with clean, safe, and welcoming environments.

Your upcoming role
As a cleaner within station cleaning, you are responsible for ensuring that our stations and other areas maintain a high standard. You will become an important part of the Station Cleaning unit, which covers 51 stations, but the work also includes cleaning layover rooms and office spaces, as well as cleaning the front windscreens of vehicles in traffic.

The work environments vary – both indoors and outdoors – which means you need to enjoy working in all kinds of weather conditions, whether it is sunny, rainy, or stormy.

The tasks include:

• Performing cleaning at commuter rail stations, offices, and layover rooms according to current cleaning instructions with high quality and self-control
• Cleaning the front windscreens of our vehicles in traffic
• Following safety regulations and having knowledge of machinery, chemical products, protective equipment, and workwear
• Performing supplementary tasks as needed, such as key handling, washing of cleaning materials, or ordering materials
• Reporting deviations, deficiencies, and needs that arise

Before you start working, you will undergo a mandatory introductory training focused on safety and working environment. Since the work takes place in environments with high safety requirements, it is important that you have a natural safety mindset for the security of yourself and others.

The work is performed according to a schedule and may involve early mornings, late evenings, nights, or weekend work. Therefore, you need to be able to get to and from work on your own, regardless of the time of day.

Expectations of the person we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in practical work, for example from restaurants, service, or similar, and is confident in handling varied tasks
• Is meticulous, responsible, and flexible
• Has good teamwork skills and enjoys physical work
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience in cleaning/custodial work
• Class B driver's license
• Experience working in public environments
