We are now looking for a Dry Vacuum Operator for the Mälardalen – Västerås area.

SERWENT is an established contractor within water and sewage services, with approximately 200 employees at several locations in Sweden.

Here, an engaged team currently carries out assignments including sludge removal, ADR, sewer jetting, pipe inspection, dry vacuuming, and on-call services.

About the role

As a Dry Vacuum Operator, you work with removing various types of materials, such as shavings, sand, and concrete, from properties using modern vacuum technology.

You always work together with a colleague, where you jointly are responsible for carrying out assignments at the customer's site.

The work involves manually handling suction hoses to efficiently collect material in the dry vacuum tank.

Together, you are also responsible for the vehicle and have direct contact with customers at the job site.

This is a job for you who likes to get your hands dirty when needed. The work is physical, varied, and may involve heavy tasks and work in tight spaces.

Having good physical fitness and a positive attitude towards practical work is a great advantage in this position.

About you and what we are looking for

We are looking for you who are responsible, service-oriented, and thrive in independent work. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to think logistically.

You have good driving experience and are easy to meet customers in a professional manner.

You communicate clearly and are involved in improvement work together with your team and nearest manager.

We see that you have:

• Category C driver's license
• Valid YKB (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

As a person, you are stress-resistant, proactive, and plan your driving with a focus on both traffic safety and the environment.
