Prototal Group is Europe's leading manufacturer in 3D printing, injection molding, and vacuum casting. We are in an expansion phase and are now looking for a Setup Technician for our injection molding department in Götene.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and changing tools in injection molding machines.
• Optimizing process parameters to achieve high quality and productivity.
• Starting up and adjusting machines according to production orders.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues during operational disruptions.
• Documenting settings and process changes.
• Collaborating with the quality and production departments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Adhering to occupational health and safety regulations.
• Creating and maintaining robot programs.

Requirements for Competence and Experience

• Experience working as a setup technician in injection molding.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes, plastic materials, and tool changes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize machine settings.
• Technical education in plastic, production, or maintenance technology is advantageous.
• Experience working with industrial control systems and automation is a plus.
• Understanding of quality systems and the importance of documentation.
