Dematek AB is the market's most comprehensive supplier of lifting equipment, service, and safety training. We are represented throughout Sweden and are now looking for another service technician to join our team in Örnsköldsvik. You will work with the leading brands in the lifting industry and become part of our strong team at Dematek.

About you:

You will be offered a role where you control your working days and plan your work independently at our customers' sites. We assume you appreciate working with freedom under responsibility. At our customers' premises, you will perform preventive maintenance, service, and installation of our products such as gantry cranes, hoists, pillar jib cranes, and much more related to lifting. We would like you to be an open person who enjoys customer contact and likes selling both our services and products. To assist you in your work, you will have access to a well-equipped service vehicle, and you have many colleagues to call upon when you need help.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A strong interest in technology
• Experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing technical equipment
• The ability to work independently while maintaining a high service focus in all situations
• Electrical knowledge
• Knowledge of control and regulation technology
• PLC technology skills
• Experience with common administrative systems
• A valid Class B driver's license
• Basic knowledge of English
• Swedish citizenship, as some positions require security-cleared background checks

The work is sometimes physically demanding. Since it sometimes takes place at heights, you must be able to obtain a certified fitness certificate for climbing with significant height differences. Underground work is also occasionally required.

We would like you to have a strong interest in technology, be meticulous, service-oriented, and enjoy customer contact. We assume you communicate fluently in Swedish.

Other information

We assume you are living in the area around Örnsköldsvik. You will be based at our office/workshop in Arnäsvall and will have the opportunity to use your service vehicle as a company car. The position is full-time.

Many of our customers require security clearance. Therefore, it is important that you have a clean criminal record as well as a stable and good financial background. At some customers, alcohol and drug tests may also be part of their security routines.
