ArkivIT is one of Sweden's leading consulting firms within digital archive and information management – with specialized expertise in information security, data protection, e-archives, as well as archives and registry services. Since our founding in 2010, we have expanded our service offering and built a team of dedicated and knowledgeable consultants working with organizations across the country. Our strength lies in the combination of deep professional knowledge, humility, and a focus on results – and our goal is to contribute to secure, structured, and sustainable information governance in both the public and private sectors.

Are you an IT security specialist looking to work broadly with security issues?

At ArkivIT, you will work in an experienced team where your skills are valued and developed. We are looking for you who want to work with IT security in a broader context – where technology, information security, and physical security together create sustainable and reliable solutions.

You will have the freedom to shape your daily work, while contributing to societal benefit in some of Sweden's most important operations.

About the role
As an IT Security Consultant, you work closely with our clients' operations and are often a key figure in their security efforts. You operate at the intersection of technology and business, contributing to creating structured and business-integrated IT security work.

The role involves supporting both administration and projects to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal guidelines. You act as an advisor, coordinator, and expert in IT security, driving the work forward both strategically and operationally.

Examples of tasks:

  • Support administration and project management in ensuring process compliance in IT security work
  • Monitor laws, regulations, standards, and internal guidelines
  • Identify, analyze, and report risks, vulnerabilities, and deviations
  • Lead and structure work where you, together with the business, identify risks, threats, and weaknesses in systems or processes.
  • Produce documentation, decision support materials, and basis for governance
  • Specify IT security requirements in development, change, and maintenance
  • Act as an advisor and expert in IT and information security
  • Coordinate security issues with other parts of the organization
  • Participate in meetings, consultations, and represent the security function within the organization
  • Contribute to the development of LIS from a technical perspective
  • Suggest and drive security improvements
  • Support incident handling and continuity work

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT security work
  • Experience applying relevant frameworks and standards, e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, or Open Security Architecture
  • Experience with requirement specification and follow-up within IT security
  • Experience in IT security work in project and/or administration environments
  • Good understanding of the interplay between IT security and information security
  • Fluent Swedish and good English in speech and writing
  • Relevant higher education or equivalent experience

Merits:

  • Experience in similar work in the public sector
  • Experience in OT environments (e.g., ICS/SCADA)
  • Experience with established administration models (e.g., pm3)
  • Knowledge in data protection and GDPR from a technical perspective
  • Certifications in security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH)
  • Experience in a consulting role and/or project management
  • Knowledge of physical security and its connection to IT and information security

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and confident in their competence. You have a holistic perspective on security and understand how technology, information, and business are interconnected.

You are used to driving your work forward, taking responsibility, and communicating complex issues in a clear and pedagogical manner. You thrive in an advisory role and enjoy collaborating – both with colleagues and customers – to create real impact.

Our offer
At ArkivIT, you get a flexible and developmental work environment where you can influence your daily life. We offer:

  • Continuous competence development
  • An open and learning climate
  • Experienced and engaged colleagues
  • Social activities and joint events

Your manager, Gustav, works with a coaching leadership style and believes in freedom under responsibility, where you receive both support and room to develop.

We value our employees and create conditions for reflection, feedback, and long-term development.

Application
Don't wait with your application – we interview continuously, and the position may be filled as soon as we find the right candidate.

If you have questions, you are warmly welcome to contact Gustav Rönne at [email protected].

During the summer, response times may be slightly delayed due to holidays – thank you for your understanding!
