Digitalization Coordinator for Social Services
State grant-funded project position for two years with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for you who want to take a key role in our digital development journey. The position is new and has been created to meet the increased needs following the new Social Services Act and rapid technological development. By introducing smart digital solutions, we can free up time for the most important thing – the meeting between people – while strengthening quality, increasing security, and creating a more sustainable operation.
This may involve introducing AI-based transcription, secure digital communication, digital alarms and keys, or other welfare technology solutions that simplify daily life and strengthen the quality of our operations.
With us, you will drive development all the way from idea and needs analysis to implementation, training, and further development. You will become a vital link between the operations, the municipality's IT department, and external suppliers, working closely with managers, system administrators, and employees to create solutions that work in practice.
The work is based on the municipality's IT and digitalization strategy and takes place in close collaboration with the municipality's IT department to ensure long-term and sustainable digital development.
The position is located within the unit for operational support and staffing. It is a two-year project position with the possibility of extension. Since the position is new, you will also have the opportunity to influence and shape the assignment as the needs of the operations develop.
Your Assignment
As a Digitalization Coordinator, you will have a central role in the development of social services. You will drive the operational implementation of digital solutions while contributing to strategic development work. An important part of the assignment is to create engagement and security in the change process, so that new working methods become a natural part of the operations.
You will work closely with system administrators and become an important part of the development and management of the business system Lifecare.
In the role, you will among other things:
- lead the implementation of new digital solutions and welfare technology
- plan, drive, and follow up on development projects
- support managers and employees in change and development work
- plan and conduct training and workshops
- develop and manage the business system together with system administrators
- monitor the external environment and translate new opportunities into concrete improvements in operations
- contribute to the long-term digitalization work of social services.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who enjoy taking responsibility and driving the work forward. You can work independently, but you also know that the best results are created together with others. You need to have the ability to get others on board to dare to think and try new solutions for a sustainable social service of the future.
We see that you have:
- a university degree in a relevant field, or experience that provides equivalent competence according to the employer's assessment.
- experience from social services or municipal health and care work.
- experience of digitalization, business development, or implementation of digital solutions.
- good digital competence.
- good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
It is meritorious if you have experience of project management, change management, welfare technology, system administration, or have worked in the business system Lifecare.
