Do you want to complete your practical training in a developing, secure, and educational environment? Folktandvården Visby is now looking for six dedicated dentists who wish to complete their practical training with us.

Folktandvården Visby is a large and modern clinic with 25 treatment rooms. We see approximately 8,000 child patients and 13,000 adult patients. We have experienced supervisors and a structured introduction and supervision program.

You will receive good supervision, variety in your work, and the opportunity to develop safely in your role as a future dentist in Sweden. The position is aimed at you who have passed the knowledge exam – both theoretical and practical – and only need a practice place for practical training in Sweden.

Your responsibilities

The practical training lasts for 12 months and is structured so that you work 50% as a dentist and 50% as a dental hygienist/assistant. You will work in teams and groups to gain a broad and stable introduction to Swedish general dentistry.

You will be part of a one-year program where you will receive:

• Support and supervision in all aspects of general dentistry.
• Introduction to Swedish working methods, medical record systems, and regulations.
• The opportunity to gradually build independence and clinical confidence.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have passed the theoretical and practical knowledge exams.

You have good ability to collaborate and work in teams. We see that you have an interest in development and learning. You master the Swedish language fluently in speech and writing.

A background check via an extract from the criminal record register will be conducted prior to the decision on employment.
