Land Workshop Uppland is a department within the Army Staff with 57 employees. We perform maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' land equipment and deliver technical system support. This means maintenance in the form of supervision, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scraping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and equipment inspection.

Land Workshop Uppland has operations in both Enköping and Uppsala, with this position located in Enköping. This position is a fixed-term contract for an upcoming parental leave of 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Job Responsibilities

As a spare parts specialist, you work with spare parts preparation, assurance, and quality assurance of documentation for spare parts orders, as well as deciding whether spare parts should be procured via internal or external parties. You initiate, monitor, and close customer orders in our support systems. The work also includes searching for and ordering equipment, goods handling, and other warehouse management, as well as warehouse care and customer reception. Various other tasks involving the Swedish Armed Forces' equipment and equipment systems may occur.

Qualifications

• At least a two- or three-year upper secondary education in vehicle technology or other education/competence acquired through professional experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Experience of working with spare parts within the machinery or automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.
• Category B driver's license.

As a spare parts specialist, you have a high degree of stress tolerance and are efficient in time-pressured situations. Since the work largely involves working with both internal and external customers, it is important that you are service-oriented and flexible. • Experience of working with logistics and spare parts management.
• Experience of working with forklifts.
• Wheel loader license.
• Experience of working in SAP/PRIO.

• Employment type: Fixed-term 12 months with possibility of extension if needed.

The work also entails requirements for travel and duty, both domestic and international.
