Job Description
We are currently looking for a student assistant at Söraby School. You will be responsible for a student with diabetes throughout the entire school day. Part of the role also includes working in the after-school center.
Söraby School in Rottne is a primary and lower secondary school with approximately 300 students. Our operations are characterized by our key words: joy, knowledge, and security, which permeate both teaching and daily interactions between students and staff.
The school works systematically and long-term with language development as a priority area. Through conscious pedagogical work, clear structure, and collegial collaboration, we create an stimulating learning environment where students are given good conditions to develop their linguistic abilities. The goal is for every student to have the opportunity to reach their full potential and develop based on their individual prerequisites.
Qualifications
We are looking for a secure and responsible student assistant who will work closely with a student with diabetes and contribute to a safe and functional school day.
Requirements:
- Upper secondary education, preferably within child and youth activities or care and nursing
- Experience working with children/students
- Knowledge of diabetes or willingness to learn
- Ability to follow routines and medical instructions
- Good collaboration skills
You are calm, meticulous, empathetic, and take clear responsibility. You can create security and act steadily even in pressured situations.

Employment Terms
Type of Employment: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
Start Date: According to agreement.
End Date: 2027-02-28.
