We are now looking for an engaged nursing teacher/vocational teacher who wants to help educate tomorrow's employees within healthcare and social care.

We are particularly looking for you who have competence and experience in nursing. Job Responsibilities

As a nursing teacher, you are responsible for teaching within the healthcare and social care education at the adult education center. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on current regulatory documents and work to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

The position includes among other things:

• Teaching in healthcare and social care subjects, psychiatry, and psychology
• Planning, conducting, and evaluating teaching
• Mentoring and supporting students in their learning
• Coordinating and following up on work-based learning (APL)
• Collaborating with employers and businesses within healthcare and social care
• Participating in development work to strengthen the quality and attractiveness of the education
• Contributing to the development of the education's content based on the competence needs of working life

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have relevant education in healthcare, social care, social work, or a related field
• Are a registered nurse
• Have experience from healthcare and social care operations and a good understanding of the competence needs of these operations
• Have experience in one or more areas: healthcare, nursing, psychiatry, or psychology
• Have a teaching certificate
• Have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Have good collaboration skills and a genuine interest in adult learning
• Have experience of teaching within adult education or upper secondary school
• Have experience of mentoring students, pupils, or new employees
• Have experience of working with validation and individualized learning
• Have experience of collaboration with working life and issues related to work-based learning
