Högsby Bostads AB is the municipal housing company in Högsby Municipality. We are responsible for housing and premises that are important for people's daily lives and the municipality's development. We are now looking for an engaged and solution-oriented property technician with technical responsibility who wants to help develop our property portfolio.

The company has approximately 340 residential apartments as well as several garages and premises. In addition to our own housing, we manage the majority of the municipal operational premises, such as schools and special needs housing. The managed area amounts to approx. 55,000 sqm. The municipal premises are distributed across several locations within the municipality.

Högsby Bostads currently has 10 employees, including 5 operations technicians and a foreman.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervision, maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
• Repairs and service work in apartments and premises.
• Contact with tenants and contractors.
• Systematic property maintenance and fire safety work.
• Rounds and self-inspections.
• Participation in renovations and improvement works.
• Energy and operational optimization.

The role of Property Technician/Operations Technician involves working with all parts of a building, such as heating, ventilation, large kitchen equipment, elevators, plumbing, carpentry, and fire alarms, etc. The majority of the working time is highly outward-facing as you work with residents in our rental apartments and/or together with municipal operations within schools, preschools, and special needs housing, etc.

The position involves working in Högsby Municipality.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have experience in property maintenance, property technology, or similar work.
• Have practical technical competence in construction, plumbing, ventilation, electricity, or operations technology.
• Are service-oriented and enjoy customer contact.
• Take responsibility and work independently.
• Have good collaboration skills and choose to see opportunities even when challenges arise.
• Are solution-oriented.

A valid B-category driver's license is required for the position.

The final candidate for the position must present a valid Swedish citizenship/work permit and an extract from the criminal record register before the position is appointed.
