We are now looking for an engaged and business-driven Head of Business Unit who wants to take a central role in developing our operations within the Applied Analytics business area.

Your role as Head of Business Unit

As Head of Business Unit, you have overall responsibility for a part of the operations – including employees, business, delivery, results, recruitment, utilization, and customer relations.

You lead a growing operation where traditional engineering expertise in system development is combined with new capabilities in AI, data analysis, and digital transformation. The role involves:

• Driving and developing the business, including sales and partnerships
• Building and developing teams with cutting-edge expertise in classic engineering disciplines and new AI-related areas
• Being responsible for deliveries in areas such as computer vision, generative AI, AI-assisted analysis, etc.
• Being an active part of the business area's management group and contributing to strategic development
• Leading change and strengthening the organization's ability to meet future digital and intelligent systems

What we offer

Our business area works through the entire product lifecycle – from development to operation and maintenance – and is in an expansive phase. We are now strengthening our ability to integrate AI and machine learning in analysis, decision support, and optimization, as well as to develop digital twins and enable predictive maintenance. Concurrently, we drive data-driven development and automation, with a clear focus on secure and robust system development according to relevant standards.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who combine technical depth with business acumen and modern, engaging leadership. You have a relevant academic education, for example as a Civil Engineer or equivalent, and have previous experience leading operations with both personnel and economic responsibility. You are accustomed to driving business development and have a natural focus on customer dialogue and creating value in the meeting with the customer.

It is meritorious if you have knowledge and a genuine interest in AI, data analysis, digitalization, and new technologies, as well as an understanding of how these can be implemented in practice – for example within predictive maintenance, decision support, or system optimization. If you also have experience from the consulting industry, we see it as an extra plus.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and pass a security clearance with registry check.
